Tombigbee State Park is located six miles from Tupelo. The park offers several outdoor opportunities very close to an urban area. It is the headquarters of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Camping is very popular here, as well as picnicking, hiking, football, baseball, soccer, disc golfing, boating and fishing. The nature trail is a 1.2 mile path for hiking through the woodlands and along the Lake Lee.
